The e-learning interior design courses are an online version of our long-running physical interior design courses and are suitable for those who prefer more flexible course schedules without the need to come for physical lessons. The course is a comprehensive look into the world of interior design, equipping participants with the fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of interior design.
The e-learning short courses focus on a specific topic or area and are suitable for those who are already in the industry and looking to upgrade a specific skillset, or those who are interested in understanding more about a specific area of interior design. These courses can range from equipping participants with skills such as software usage or interior decoration.
Certificate in Interior Design and Decorative Techniques (E-Learning)
A twelve (12) months fundamental course designed for anyone who aspires to be a residential interior designer. This course will enable participants to explore the development and processes of residential interior design – from the conceptual stages of space planning, to the use of furniture and fixtures to complete a residential interior design project.Designers will be introduced to concepts such as the Seven (7) Design Principles, together with essential design skills like space planning, colour concepts, design styles, materials, lighting and finishes.
Diploma in Interior Design (E-learning)
An incremental six (6) months course that extends from the Certificate course; introducing participants to the world of commercial interior design. This course allows participants to broaden and diversify their design skillsets, preparing them for future industry practice.It has a continuation of subjects such as Design Studio and Design Communication covered in the first year, alongside new subjects that delve into the commercial aspect of design.
Advanced Diploma in Interior Design (E-Learning)
An incremental six (6) months course that extends from the Diploma course. This course will cover how professional designers manage and work together with other stakeholders in a large scale commercial projectParticipants will acquire a well-rounded knowledge appropriate for professional practitioners in the design industry and will have the capability to lead a team of designers.
Autodesk AutoCAD (E-learning)
An introductory course on AutoCAD, a fundamental tool that is commonly used in interior designParticipants will have an introductory look into AutoCAD, and its application towards interior design. They will be taught to do the file settings, such as measurement units, and the tools that are necessary to create a 2D layout plan.
Interior Decoration (E-learning)
Understand the essential skills in decorating interior spaces that are aesthetically pleasingParticipants will learn about fundamentals like the different types of finishes and materials, and how to specify them for different projects and pair them with carefully chosen accessories. In-depth knowledge of the various elements that contribute to interior decorating as well as tips and tricks to make an interior space align with the client’s ideology will be shared.
